INFO FROM SIDC - RWC BELGIUM 2015 Mar 16 12:24:38
Solar activity during the past 24 hours was moderate. Region 2297 produced a couple of low level M-Flares, including an M1.6 at 10:58 UTC (March 16). Despite being in a gradual state of decay, the active region will remain a threat for C-Flares and perhaps additional isolated M-Flares. A new sunspot is turning into view off the northeast limb and we will get a better look at it during the next 24 hours. No Earth directed coronal mass ejections were observed during the past day.
Solar wind speeds increased to just above 400 km/s.
